In this work we address the effect of plasma turbulence on atomic levels population. The plasma turbulence is considered in Collisional Radiative Modeling through fluctuations of macroscopic quantities such as the electron temperature and/or density. This study focuses on the effect of the Probability Density Function of the electron temperature on the average level populations, in the case where the turbulence frequency is either larger or smaller than any atomic time scales. Then we study the effect of the introduction of a non-Maxwellian Velocity Distribution Function using a κ-function.
